What Is Hepatitis?
Inflammation of Liver cells and liver damage are hallmarks of hepatitis. The liver is an important organ because it detoxifies the body, cleans the blood, and defends against disease. Inflammation and injury to the liver impair its ability to perform its many tasks. Although viruses are the most prevalent cause of hepatitis, other factors such as excessive alcohol use, toxic exposure, drugs, and other disorders can also play a role.
Another possible cause of hepatitis is the hepatitis virus, which is transmitted through contact with a victim’s blood or other body fluids. This could happen through any sort of physical touch, including oral or genital. It’s also possible to catch it from a carrier if you accidentally eat their trash. The disease can be spread through even minimal contact with these fluids. Hepatitis can come from a number of various sources, and its symptoms may be identical depending on the form you have.
Hepatitis encompasses a group of viral illnesses affecting the liver, including types A, B, C, D, and E. Each form of hepatitis caused by a virus is caused by a unique virus.

Hepatitis A
The hepatitis A virus is the causative agent of this disease (HAV). Food or water tainted by the feces of a person with hepatitis A is the most prevalent route of transmission of this disease.
Hepatitis B
Contact with infected bodily fluids (blood, vaginal secretions, or semen) is the only known means of hepatitis B transmission (HBV). You are more likely to contract hepatitis B if you inject drugs, have intercourse with an infected partner, or share razors with an infected individual.
Hepatitis C
It is the hepatitis C virus that causes hepatitis C. (HCV). Most commonly, intravenous drug use and sexual interaction are the means through which people contract hepatitis C.
Hepatitis D
Hepatitis D, often termed delta hepatitis, is a severe liver illness brought on by the hepatitis D virus (HDV). Direct contact with infected blood is the only known method of transmission of HDV.
Hepatitis E
The hepatitis E virus is responsible for causing this water-related illness (HEV). Hepatitis E is commonly spread through drinking contaminated water that has been tainted with human waste in low-income regions.
Ignored, this hepatitis virus can cause scarring of the liver, aberrant liver function, and eventually chronic hepatitis, liver cancer, or cirrhosis.
What Are The Symptoms Of Hepatitis?
Even if the symptoms are identical, laboratory tests can determine which form of hepatitis a person has. Chronic hepatitis, such as hepatitis B or C, may not initially present with symptoms. Damage to the liver’s ability to function may be the only indicator that something is wrong. This is why it’s crucial to have frequent health checks.
Symptoms of acute hepatitis manifest rapidly. Those things are:
fatigue

Smelly, murky urination
White or very pale feces
hurting tummy
diminished hunger

What Causes Hepatitis B?
The hepatitis B virus is to blame for the disease it names after itself (HBV). Chronic hepatitis B infection is uncommon but possible. Hepatitis B infection is typically acute. Contact with bodily fluids from an infected person, including blood, saliva, sperm, and vaginal fluids, can result in infection. Casual contact does not spread hepatitis B.
The virus is contagious via:
naked sexual activity
the practice of sharing hypodermic needles
getting a tattoo using dirty needles
getting pricked with a needle on purpose when using medical equipment

Infected mothers can protect their infants through breastfeeding.
All kinds of hepatitis share similar symptoms. Jaundice and stomach ache are among the symptoms.
Around 15-25% of persons with chronic hepatitis B will develop long-term consequences such liver cancer or cirrhosis. Liver failure (when the liver stops working) and cancer of the liver are possible outcomes. The kidneys and blood vessels are also vulnerable to damage from this. Let Me Share This Short Story Of An Hepatitis Survivor
At 37 years old, I find myself happily single. When I opened my eyes that morning in November of 2019, I saw a slight yellowing. A few days later, when my skin had already begun to turn yellow, I saw my doctor. When my doctor drew blood for testing, the results confirmed that I have Hepatitis B. My illness worsened over the following weeks, and I became an awful shade of yellow. I’ve never been sicker than I am right now. The remaining days of 2019 were spent primarily in bed.
To aid digestion and reduce liver stress, I, along with resting, made some significant dietary adjustments. The booze was the first to go. Although I cut back significantly, I began eating more regularly and was cautious to maintain a healthy, well-rounded diet. In all my years, I’d never before eaten so healthfully. I’ve spent a lot of time and effort over the years trying a variety of diets, but to no avail.
On the 21st of November, 2020, my bilirubin (total) was 12.0, my AST was 768, and my ALT was 1756. The bilirubin count in my blood rose to 19.2 over time. My bilirubin level in February was.8, and my AST was 101 and ALT was 231. This past June of 2020, my AST was 152 and my ALT was 311. and the number of viruses on my system was a mind-boggling 830,000,000. It’s true that I had a reputation for being persistent.
I didn’t think hepatitis could happen to me because, based on what little I knew, I assumed that it was only spread by risky behavior. I had no idea that even a minimal exposure to the disease could have such a dramatic impact on my life.
Through it all, I kept up a consistent routine of eating well and doing enough of exercise. In November of 2019, I had another set of lab work done and found that my AST was 18, my ALT was 16, and my viral load had dropped below 100. Additionally, at this time, I tested negative for both the E-antigen and antibodies.
I needed a miracle since I was exhausted from working and wanted to unwind by listening to the radio, and lo and behold, it appeared. Because I knew it was going to be about liver, I took close attention and made a note of the total. At first, I thought the price of the supposed treatment was exorbitant.
